What's the difference between a black tea latte and adding milk to black tea?
Starbucks sells black tea lattes for 3-4 dollars, but they also sell plain black tea for around 2 dollars, and you could just add milk to that. What's the difference between a latte and adding milk to tea?
I would think the tea would be double strong in a latte, the way they use espresso in cappuccino. But for practical purposes, there's nothing to stop you from ordering a 2-bagged tea (might cost a bit more but still won't cost as much as a latte) and adding milk... but the milk won't be hot, so the whole thing will wind up kind of tepid.
Easy to do at home or the office I would think, though, with tea bags and a microwave.
