Coffee sample?

Hello,

Could anyone tell me how much coffee is needed for cupping ( green coffee beans)? How many grams should be the sample? Thanks
So how is the quality of green beans evaluated ?

You can't 'sample' green coffee beans. You sample roasted coffee. For a cupping, 7 grams of ground roasted coffee for 6 ounces of hot water.
The coffee is placed in a cup and the hot water (at least 190 deg.) is poured into the cup. It is allowed to infuse for about 3 to 4 minutes (depends a lot on the ground fineness) UNDISTURBED, do not stir the cup.
After the allotted time, 'break' the crust and smell the coffee's aroma. Then spoon the coffee and slurp the coffee violently into the mouth making a spray. swirl the coffee in the mouth and expirate into a suitable container.
